Covington Workshop: Washington Street

Thanks to everyone who came out to our opening session last night!  We heard a lot from an enthusiastic crowd.  Among the many great suggestions that we heard were a few themes:

• to beautify the street and make it a better entrance to Covington and Porterdale
• Increase safety through better lighting, slower speeds and bicycle facilities
• Reduce the street width and slow down traffic speeds
• Better regulate noxious uses

Today we’ll continue the work based on what we heard.  Come by today at 4 pm for an update.
